This is an experiential and reflective participant workshop designed to enhance counselor knowledge related to the ethics of advocacy, counselor wellness and counselor impairment. Participants will engage in reflective discussion, focus group problem-solving, case application and role play activities throughout the day. The workshop is designed to challenge participants and encourage consideration of one’s profession assumptions that may or may not support professional ethical behavior. Participants attending this workshop will need to hold a basic understanding of professional ethical codes and principles. Bring an open mind.
